With a new Demon Slayer film trilogy in the works, of course, fans can’t keep still until Tanjiro is back with the Hashiras, fighting demons. Fortunately, Funko just has the perfect treats to pass the time thanks to their newly released figures. The collection contains some of the most exciting characters, including the lead protagonist himself, Tanjiro, alongside Mitsuri , Muichiro , Gyokko, Genya , Hantengo, and Rengoku 9th Form .
Pre-orders for the figures have been ongoing at Entertainment Earth and on Amazon since Wednesday, December 18, with some scheduled for release later this month and others till next year. Reports also reveal that 2025 will see the debut of the Demon Slayer movie, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, which is intended to be an adaptation of its manga’s final arc, also the last fans will see of the beloved characters.
‘Demon Slayer’ Is an Epic Watch Through and Through Close The acclaimed anime, an adaptation of the Demon Slayer manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge, follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teenager who struggles to become a Demon Slayer after his family is murdered and his younger sister, Nezuko, is turned into a demon. The journey is not an easy one for Tanjiro, but he has his sister, whom he tries to protect regardless of the circumstances.
Demon Slayer was produced by Ufotable and debuted in April 2019 with twenty-six episodes that ran until September of the same year. The sequel season then came about in October 2021, with its first part ending in November, while the other half, featuring eleven episodes, ran from December 5, 2021, to February 13, 2022. The following year, Season 3 premiered on April 9 and ended on June 18, while the fourth season, comprising eight episodes, aired from May 12, 2024, to June 30, 2024.
Compared to Season 1 of Demon Slayer, which was broadcast on Tokyo MX and other channels, Seasons 2-4 aired on Fuji TV. Furthermore, in the U.S., the dark fantasy series is licensed by Aniplex, while its English dub aired on Adult Swim's Toonami programming unit.
