Jim Curry will perform in "Take Me Home, the Music of John Denver," on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, Pa.Jim Curry sang as the voice of John Denver in the CBS TV movie, “Take Me Home, the John Denver Story.”“As a life-long fan, Curry created the ultimate tribute experience, dedicating himself to continue Denver’s legacy of songs and his message of love and caring for our planet to future generations.

“Curry also works behind the scenes to preserve Denver’s music, most notably in rebuilding and preserving Denver’s original symphony arrangements,” according to a news release.Denver died in an airplane crash on Oct. 12, 1997, at the age of 53. His hit songs included”Take Me Home, Country Roads,” “Annie’s Song,” “Rocky Mountain High,” “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” and “Sunshine on My Shoulders.
