On Friday, January 6, Central Pennsylvania received it's first snow storm of the 2022 winter season.
During the evening of Jan. 6, central Pennsylvania was hit with its first major snowstorm of the year.
According to National Weather Service, the snow began to stop around 6 a.m. today but in certain areas roads could remain slippery throughout the day. Forecasters said Adams County received 3.5 inches of snow; Cumberland County had 6.6 inches; Dauphin County had 3 inches; Lancaster County had 1.5 inches and York County had 7 inches. For the rest of the day, overcast skies are expected to clear due to a sunny but still cold Friday afternoon.
In the video above, you can see via drone footage how the snow blanketed central Pennsylvania, at least for a little while.
