"Saya sudah menandatangani surat lantikan tetapi saya tidak sempat menyerahkan surat ini kepada Allahyarham," katanya ketika ditemui media ketika solat jenazah Allahyarham Mohd Khusairi di Masjid Ar-Masjid Rahmaniah FELDA Sungai Behrang di Slim River hari ini.Jenazah Mohd Khusairi selamat dikebumikan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam FELDA Sungai Behrang pada 9.20 pagi hari ini.
