At least 25 students were admitted to hospitals after a “non-toxic consumable sanitizer” was discovered in milk cartons in various schools in Camden, officials said.

Some were vomiting, she said. A tweet from the district shortly after noon on Wednesday said, “no students are currently ill but were sent to the hospital as a precaution.”

School officials in Camden said 95 cartons of Guida’s Dairy milk were pulled and eight were contaminated with the substance, made by Vortexx. New Britain, Connecticut-based Guida and the state department of health couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.that said, “Nothing is more important than the well-being and health of those we serve.
