The Tacoma Police Department arrested a murder suspect in the 7000 block of South 12 Street in Tacoma on Monday.

Officials say that Tacoma police officers arrived shortly after 1 p.m. and found a 31-year-old man who had been shot.

The officers tried to save the man’s life but the Tacoma Fire Department declared him dead at the scene.“Throughout their investigation, Tacoma Detectives established probable cause to arrest the suspect,” said a spokesperson. After some investigation, another 31-year-old man was arrested for murder.
