There have been large celebrations in major European cities after Syrian rebels ousted the country's longtime ruler Bashar al-Assad.
Reaction from world leaders has begun to flow in following the dramatic and swift ousting of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who ruled over the country for 24 years.
Assad reportedly fled Damascus early on Sunday as rebels swept into the Syrian capital, ending five decades of rule by his family.
