Video cameras captured him grabbing a woman by the throat in a casino elevator, then later grabbing her hair and pulling her out of a car in a parking garage, according to court documents.
The university placed Terry Turnipseed, a professor for 19 years, on leave and barred him from campus, the school said.
Video cameras captured Turnipseed grabbing a woman by the throat in the casino’s TS Steakhouse elevator, then later grabbing her hair and pulling her out of a car in a parking garage, according to Turnipseed’s arraignment documents. Police found a clump of the woman’s hair in Turnipseed’s pocket, according to the documents.
Turnipseed’s lawyer, Chuck Keller, said he has seen the video, and talked with both Turnipseed and the woman.
