PETALING JAYA: Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman had to leave Parliament after he was called to assist the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in its investigations.
The investigation is believed to be over the RM250,000 which went missing from the safe at the Muar MP's home.
In another tweet he said, “I have always acted honestly and have courage due to the truth. I hope my dealings with the MACC today are made easy." It was reported that the MACC was expected to call up more Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia youth wing members as investigations go beyond the RM250,000 that was reported missing from the home of its former leader.MACC director of investigations Datuk Norazlan Mohd Razali was quoted as saying they may call in more individuals from the party as the investigation continues.
