Swift, 34, stepped out in a mustard yellow and black-checked ensemble as this year’s most nominated artist, merely hours afterThe 'Cruel Summer' signer earned 12 nods for Video, Song and Artist of the Year categories. Rapper Eminem has eight, and Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion and Sabrina Carpenter have seven. Swift claimed the first award of the night, winning Best Collaboration with Post Malone for Fortnight.
“Waking up this morning in New York on September 11, I’ve just been thinking about what happened 23 years ago,” Swift said. It comes just hours after Musk, 53, offered Swift a child in response to her endorsement for Kamala Harris as the next United States president though an Instagram post on Wednesday.
