Swensons Drive-In is offering a few menu items for the holidays.
The Northeast Ohio-based eatery, which is marking 90 years in business, has an extensive menu with dozens of items from milkshakes to sandwiches and more. It’s drive-up only. Drivers turn on their lights when ready to order, and curb servers will hustle out to the vehicle.
Already out is a pumpkin milkshake, made with real pumpkin-pie filling and topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. Now Swensons is releasing a Thanksgiving burger with turkey, gooey Swiss cheese, homestyle stuffing, crispy sweet-potato waffle fries and zesty cranberry mayo. In December a Blazin’ bacon burger will be available. The quarter pounder has three crispy strips of bacon, pepper jack cheese, bacon jam, crunchy fried jalapeño chips and a savory bacon aioli. Sweet-potato waffle fries come dusted with cinnamon sugar and marshmallow dip.
