The Royal Family has shared a touching and very meaningful throwback photograph of the late Queen with her parents, sister and husband, Prince Phillip, before they announced she had been laid to rest.
She was in her early twenties in the snap, looking demure as she beamed into the camera with her family by her side and her devoted husband sat steadfastly behind her – a mark of what was to come of his service when she became Queen just a few years later.Alongside the image, the post said: "This evening a Private Burial will take place in The King George VI Memorial Chapel at Windsor.
