SWAT standoff in Rolando after man with gun runs into stranger's home, refuses to come out [Breaking]
San Diego police surrounded a home in the Rolando area Sunday afternoon after a man reported to be carrying a gun ran into a stranger’s home and refused to come out, police said. SWAT responded just after 4 p.
m. to a home on Madeline Street near 62nd Street, in a residential area southeast of College Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard, police Officer John Buttle said.Details of what preceded the standoff were not clear, but it started hours earlier, about 12:40 p.m., with a call from a person reporting that his hand had been injured by another man, Buttle said.A resident on Madeline soon called to report that a stranger had entered his home, slipped into a room and locked the door.This is a breaking news story.
