The English voice cast for Makoto Shinkai's new film 'Suzume' are a prolific bunch that might sound familiar. Here are some of their biggest roles.

The new anime film Suzume is the latest hit from Your Name director Makoto Shinkai, and it's already one of the most successful anime films of all time, even before it's had its English-language debut on April 14. The cast of the English dub features a lot of voices that fans may recognize from other works, simply due to their prolific careers.

Josh Keaton Sota Munakata, a strange man who seems to know what's going on with the rifts, was voiced by Hokuto Matsumura in Japanese and Josh Keaton in English. Keaton is a prolific voice actor with hundreds of credits to his name. His most recent anime credit was Tiger & Bunny, where he voiced He is Thomas, although he may be best known for voicing Shiro in the 2016 Voltron: Legendary Defender reboot.

Rosalie Chiang Chika Amabe, another local who assists Suzume, is voiced in the Japanese by Kotone Hanase and in English by Rosalie Chiang. Rosalie Chiang is a relatively fresh face to the voice acting industry, but she made a splash with her star performance in Pixar's Turning Red in 2022.
