The NICD said that there were 160 new Covid-19 related deaths in the past day. This means that there have been 2,886,331 confirmed cases and 86,376 fatalities to date across SA.KwaZulu-Natal , followed by the Western Cape , the Eastern Cape , the Free State and Gauteng . No other provinces recorded more than 200 cases in the past day.175 new hospital admissions, meaning that there are now 8,150 people in SA's hospitals for Covid-19 treatment.
