Suspek kes Sabari direman seminggu bantu siasatan kes bunuh
SUNGAI PETANI: Polis memperoleh perintah reman selama seminggu terhadap seorang kontraktor dan anak saudaranya yang ditahan berkaitan dengan pembunuhan pesara Felcra, Sabari Baharom, 62, bulan lalu.
Sebelum ini, kedua-dua suspek lelaki berusia 26 dan 38 tahun itu ditahan polis pada 27 September lalu setelah dipercayai terlibat dalam kehilangan Sabari. Terdahulu, sebuah lori membawa suspek dengan kawalan ketat polis dilihat memasuki Kompleks Mahkamah Sungai Petani sekitar pukul 9.48 pagi sebelum meninggalkan bangunan mahkamah kira-kira sejam kemudian.
Siasatan polis kemudiannya mendapati warga emas itu disamun oleh suspek yang dikenalinya, sebelum suspek nekad mengikat tangan dan menutup mulut serta mencampakkan Sabari ke dalam Sungai Padang Terap di Kubang Pasu.
