Two suspects will be released without bail after their arrests for allegedly breaking into a family's home in Edmonds while fleeing police over the weekend.
The suspects, a 45-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, had hearings in Snohomish County Court Monday afternoon.According to police, three suspects, two women and a man, broke into a random house while running from a stolen car.
An arrest report released Monday said one suspect left the house and ran off, while the two who stayed inside in the home were using narcotics for an hour before surrendering to officers.Edmonds police booked the two suspects into the Snohomish County Jail on charges of burglary and resisting arrest. Investigators said Monday they have identified the third suspect and she has an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
“Residential burglary requires a person to go in with the intent to commit a crime against a person or property inside, and I just feel that the report is lacking those details,” said Elise Deschenes, the chief deputy of the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
