Three people are recovering in hospital after they were shot during a suspected robbery at a popular restaurant in Durban ECR_Newswatch KZN

It's understood that armed suspects entered the establishment in Umgeni Park on Thursday evening before opening fire on patrons.

"On arrival on scene three people were found to have sustained critical gunshot wounds," says EMER-G-MED spokesperson Kyle Van Reenen."Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to stabilize them before they were rushed rapidly by ambulances to nearby hospitals for further medical care. "The South African Police Services were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly."
