Suspected illegal migrant faces charges in death of 25-year-old Georgia mom

A suspected illegal immigrant is facing murder and kidnapping charges in connection to the recent death of a Georgia mom, authorities announced Tuesday.

Authorities last week located what are believed to be Rodriguez-Ramirez's remains. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the State Sen. John Albers, R-Roswell, and state Sen. Steve Gooch, R-Dahlonega, called for stronger border security Thursday in response to Rodriguez-Ramirez's death, drawing a connection between"Mimi moved from Puerto Rico and secured employment with Mt. Vernon Hills, Inc. and tirelessly supported her daughter, mother and fiance," the lawmakers said in a press release.
