The Chatham County Police Department found Matthew Smith, 32, dead underneath the car at Prestige Auto Sales at around 9:15 a.m.,Police don’t normally share every death in Chatham County. But the county’s police chief, Jeff Hadley, said the department chose to publicize this one as a deterrent for would-be catalytic converter thieves, WSAV said..
