Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a Southeast Austin taco truck by holding a knife to an employee's throat.The Austin Police Department says on Tuesday, Oct. 9, just after 2 p.m., the knife-wielding suspect demanded cash, threatening to kill the victim if she did not comply.
Described as a white male, estimated to be 19-24 years of age, tall, with red hair, and weighing around 160-180 pounds, the suspect was last seen wearing a tan and green baseball cap, blue plaid shirt, dark shorts, running shoes, and dark sunglasses.Anyone with information is asked to contact the APD Robbery unit at 512-974-5092. A potential reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
