Officers attempted to serve a felony warrant for a woman on December 21. As they attempted to arrest her, the woman resisted and her son came into the room and threatened the officers. The woman was arrested after a short altercation and transported to Lorain County Jail.
Police were dispatched to Liberty Elementary School for a report of property damage on December 3. Charges of criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, contributing the delinquency of a child and complicity were filed.While patrolling the area of Bender Road, an officer observed a car stopped on the wrong side of the road. The driver was arrested, charged with drunk driving and taken to jail.A man reported his car was rear-ended on December 20 and the at-fault driver left the scene.
