A suspect has been identified by Olivet College as the alleged shooter who shot a college baseball player after a game on Friday evening at Muskingum University.
As of Saturday morning, he was with his parents, Olivet College said in a statement. The rest of the team is safe, spent the night in their hotel and were returning to Michigan on Saturday, the school said.Muskingum University issued a shelter-in-place order at 7:23 p.m. It was lifted at 9:15 p.m.Matt Lutz said, police arrested a suspect, now identified as Grayson, at 7:45 p.m. The investigation remained ongoing as of Saturday morning.
Muskingum University spokesperson Jennifer Shaver said the school has canceled all weekend athletic events. It was due to play Olivet in baseball again Sunday. Olivet, according to the school's website, won Friday's game against Muskingum, 8-6. Olivet's Monday game against Penn State-Behrend, from Erie, Pennsylvania, also was canceled.
