on Thanksgiving night surrendered to San Antonio police Friday morning, authorities said Saturday.
Yonetsy Montriel Granado, 38, “walked into the substation and identified himself to police” around 9 a.m., according to San Antonio and Houston police. Granado is accused of killing two people, including his ex-wife, and wounding two others after Thanksgiving dinner inside a home in the 1500 block of Baggett Lane in Spring Branch.
“The suspect was booked and is currently at the Bexar County Jail but will be extradited to Houston,” the San Antonio Police Department said in a news release Saturday.At around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, a man stormed into a home where a group of friends and family had just finished eating Thanksgiving dinner and opened fire on them, Houston police said. The ex-wife and a man were killed; a second man was seriously injured; and a 15-year-old boy also was injured, police said Friday.
“The suspect discharged multiple rounds and even reloaded his weapon at the scene,” Houston Assistant Chief Patricia Cantu said.Police confirmed Friday that the shooter was previously in a relationship with the dead woman and they shared a child together.
