Police have found the man they say is responsible for Friday’s Pennsylvania Turnpike shooting that killed a 40-year-old man, state police announced Monday evening.
Police said they found the 59-year-old man from North Dinwiddie, Virginia, dead by a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the parking lot of a shopping complex on Crossings Boulevard in Caernarvon Township, Berks County, on Saturday morning. The shooting occurred on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-76, between Morgantown and Bowmansville at around 1:15 p.m.Police said after the shooting, they identified a white tractor-trailer as a vehicle of interest in the homicide. The tractor-trailer was located Saturday morning, according to police.State police ask anyone with information related to road rage, suspicious activity or erratic driving involving a white flatbed truck or a white tractor-trailer driving on I-76 from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m.
