BCI has not shared what led up to the shooting.
The Adam’s County Sheriff’s office called in the Bureau of Crime Investigation around 2 p.m. on Thursday.Police caught him on the corner of US-68 and Cuba Road in Washington Township.
The suspect, whose name we don’t have yet, led police through Manchester, across the river to Maysville and back up to Winchester before finally being caught. A BCI spokesman said there’s a third person who was shot and is in serious condition. The shooting took place in Manchester on the corner of Adams Street and 6th streets.Around 7 pm, the Maysville Police Department said it was helping Ohio authorities find the suspect. A neighbor says he saw the man run away through the alley. He didn’t hear any gunshots despite living right next to the house.
“The older I get, the more scared I get. Not like back when I was young I didn’t care. When you get old, you want to live as long as you can. You don’t want to get shot by some fool and, we’ve never seen that guy before," said Ronnie Perry who has lived in Manchester all of his life. This investigation scared many people because police did not release a description of the man or the vehicle he was driving.
