Police arrested and charged Tuesday a man they say played a role in firing shots inside a Midtown recording studio in March, leaving a victim on the brink of death, authorities said.While the motive for the shooting remains unclear, detectives tied 23-year-old Zykil Adamson to the violent incident, with the NYPD Warrant Squad picking him up on Tuesday.
Police sources said a 26-year-old man remains in serious condition after he was shot at around 12:30 a.m. on March 8 inside the Music Building — a Midtown music studio and rehearsal space in operation since the late 1970s, located on 8th Avenue between 38th and 39th streets.The near-deadly shooting took place on the 11th floor, where many famous musicians are said to have performed, when Sidarius Davis was shot in the head.
