Dakarion Serico McDonald, 23, of Montgomery, is charged with assault related to a Dec. 14 shooting in the 2000 block of Troy Highway.According to the filings, McDonald walked over to a vehicle and asked those inside if they wanted to buy some marijuana. After being told no, the suspect reportedly asked one of the people inside the vehicle where he was from and if he ever hung out with someone that robbed another person, the documents explain. After responding that he didn’t, McDonald reportedly shot the man. Documents indicate he was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a serious injury involving a gunshot to the leg. McDonald, who was arrested Thursday, is being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $30,000 bond.
