Police arrested a man accused of involvement with the case of two emperor tamarin monkeys that went missing from the Dallas Zoo earlier this week
The man charged in the case of missing animals at the Dallas Zoo earlier this week had been hanging around the zoo asking questions about the monkeys and other animals before they went missing, according to an affidavit filed Friday.
Davion Irvin, 24, has been charged with six counts of animal cruelty not involving livestock as well as burglary counts. His arrest comes after a series of escalating incidents at the zoo in which multiple animals went missing and a vulture died.
