A man has been chafrged by West Mercia for a string of burglaries, theft and GBH
Jason Maddox, 42, of Elizabeth Crescent, Broseley, has been charged with four burglary offences and two theft offences that took place on farms in the Shropshire area in May and June this year. The offences include an attempt to steal a trailer at a farm in Shrewsbury on May 13, attempted burglary of a farm in Bucknell on May 5, attempted burglary from a farm shed in Much Wenlock on June 26, another attempted burglary of farm equipment in Much Wenlock on June 27, the theft of a motor vehicle in Powys on May 5, and another attempted burglary on a Church Stretton farm on May 8.
He is also accused of unlawfully and maliciously causing grievous bodily harm to a man in Much Wenlock on June 27. Mr Maddox appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on July 1 where he was remanded in custody to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on July 28.
