BREAKING Police arrest man in connection to 'suspicious death' of his girlfriend who was found in a Salt Lake City motel this morning
After receiving information from the University of Utah Police Department about a man who had made threats to kill his girlfriend, the Salt Lake City police responded to the Quality Inn at 616 South 200 West.
When officers entered the motel room, they found an unresponsive 19-year-old woman and a man later identified as Haoyu Wang.During their investigation, police say Wang, 26, claimed to have killed the woman and attempted to kill himself by allegedly injecting himself with drugs, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.Police said Wang and the woman were in a"romantic relationship" and were living together at the time of her death.
