Police say several businesses in the area of Narrow Lane Road and Carter Hill Road were hit by a burglar in the last few days. Hall said after businesses reported the crimes, the department sent officers and shift supervisors to the area to investigate. Hall explained how officers solved the case so quickly by “doing what they were supposed to do.” He said officers responding to the latest call Thursday canvassed the area, found Sankey hiding and got him into custody without incident.
