A suspect was arrested and taken into custody late Thursday night in relation to the assault of an Oakland restaurant owner at SoFi Stadium Sunday, police said.

"Mr Luna fell to the ground where he was later found by security personal who summoned paramedics," Butts said. Butts said the majority of the people including Luna in the group were wearing red jerseys but the suspect was wearing what appeared to be a yellow jersey with some blue in it. Luna was transported to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he was put into a medically induced coma to prevent brain swelling due to intracranial bleeding, Butts said.
Luna owns a popular Peruvian fusion restaurant called Mistura, which specializes in rotisserie chicken, on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. The restaurant is temporarily closed,"but will be back soon," a message on the website said. The reason for the closure was not noted.
