Myron F. Bowie was arrested in Chicago after being accused of setting his girlfriend on fire and threatening to kill her in the Village of Salem Lakes, Wisconsin on July 30.
During a press conference, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson warned a local reporter on Wednesday that using the term "mob action" to describe looters was not "appropriate."Myron F. The victim was taken to a local hospital with severe burns. As of Friday, she is still is critical condition but is expected to survive. Police found Bowie's car in the Chicago Heights area before they apprehended him. He was taken into custody without incident. Myron Faith Bowie set his girlfriend on fire after he threatened to kill her, her children and her entire family, officials said.
