No one was injured. Deputies are investigating why the man started shooting.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department arrested a suspect accused of firing gunshots out of a Malibu home Friday afternoon.Deputies said they received multiple 911 calls around 2:40 p.m. Friday, with callers reporting that gunshots had been fired from out of the home on Carbon Mesa Road. Those in the area told FOX 11 that law enforcement went door-to-door telling residents in neighboring homes to evacuate.
"One of my friends who lives up the street said that they did come knocking door to door, telling people, if you could be seen from this house, you had to leave because they believed he was Marine trained," said Darcy Oherlihy. Deputies could not confirm to FOX 11 that the suspect had military training.Images from SkyFOX showed at least six LASD cruisers outside the home, with deputies trying to surround the home from multiple angles.
