An investigation is underway after a suspect was shot at a home following reports that he was firing his weapon inside the residence in Conroe Monday, police said.
According to officers with the Conroe Police Department, they were called to the scene about a weapons disturbance. An officer said when he got to the home, he engaged with the suspect and then fired his gun, shooting the suspect.
Investigators said the suspect was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. No officers were injured during the incident, police said. The Conroe Police Department Criminal Investigation Division, along with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, are on scene conducting an investigation.
