A sushi restaurant is closing its locations in Seattle and Bellevue 'until further notice' after famous TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee raised safety concerns.
A photo of FOB Sushi in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood. The restaurant closed "until further notice" Monday after it was embroiled in accusations of a worm in a piece of sashimi featured on popular TikTok influencer Keith Lee's channel.
Seattle and King County Public Health , the local department responsible for fielding unsafe food handling practice complaints and issuing safety inspections, said a health inspector attempted a visit Monday but the restaurant was closed. "Regarding the video, the movement observed in the fish may result from natural elasticity or the pressure of chopsticks when applied to its structure," the restaurant"We have never had any issues regarding food safety and remain committed to serving you the highest quality seafood," FOB Sushi added.
