Netflix released the first official look at its upcoming comedy-drama series Survival of the Thickest, a new series from A24.
. The trailer previews the story of a woman attempting to rebuild her life after a breakup.Survival of the Thickest was created by Michelle Buteau and Danielle Sanchez Witzel. Alongside Buteau, other cast members include Tone Bell, Tasha Smith, and Christine Horn. Recurring cast members include Garcelle Beauvais, Anissa Felix, Peppermint, Taylor Selé, Marouane Zotti, and more.“Survival of the Thickest centers on Mavis Beaumont . Black, plus-size and newly single , Mavis unexpectedly finds herself having to rebuild her life as a struggling stylist,” reads the official synopsis.
