Alejandra Choi, a surprised Seawolves fan, received an Alaska 529 scholarship award on Saturday evening at a UAA volleyball game at the Alaska Airlines Center in Anchorage. The scholarship is eligible for Alaskans who deposit half of their Permanent Fund dividend into their Alaska 529 educational savings account.
