January Jones has officially joined the Murphy universe.
, Murphy staple Jessica Lange, Lucy Boynton, and Bob Balaban. Judith Light and Bette Midler will also appear as recurring guests, and Janet Mock is slated to direct at least one episode of the Netflix series.
As with the majority of the details on any Murphy project, the particulars of Jones's role has been kept under wraps. She is listed as appearing in seven episodes, but it remains to be seen if her role falls under the Betty Draper umbrella, or is more of a comedic part, like her performance in. In fact, it was not even confirmed that she would appear in the series at all until she showed up at the premiere party in West Hollywood on Tuesday night.
