Surgeon General Jerome Adams reportedly received an August citation for violating a coronavirus policy while in Hawaii, Axios

, adding to the list of government officials seen not following the rules as there is increasing scrutiny as the outbreak at the White House continues to grow.The police officer who wrote the citation dated Aug. 23 said Adams and two other people were taking pictures in Kualoa Regional Park even though it was closed.

The recent coronavirus outbreak at the White House has led to widespread criticism that government officials failed to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and the rules put in place by state officials. White House officials have been seen violating CDC guidelines including mask-wearing and social distancing.
