The latest polling has revealed that more Australian voters now oppose enshrining an Indigenous Voice to Parliament into the Constitution.

The exclusive poll, conducted for The Australian, shows more voters now oppose the government’s proposal than those that support it.

Those against enshrining the Voice into the Constitution increased to 47 per cent, up from 43 per cent on June 4.Support for it has, meanwhile, decreased from 46 per cent to 43 per cent, with a further 10 per cent undecided. The crucial benchmark for a referendum to succeed, the ‘Yes’ vote carrying the majority of states, also appears to be in doubt.

Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, and Tasmania would reject the Voice if a referendum were held next weekend. The strongest opposition, 54 per cent, came from Queensland. Western Australia produced a ‘No’ vote of 52 per cent.This referendum is chance to build a more united Australia.
