In a heart-breaking interview, Linda Nolan shared the news that her cancer had spread to her brain. She appeared on ITV Good Morning Britain to 'be honest' about the diagnosis, which she says she only found out about on Monday, March 20. TV co-hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley supported the star as she bravely revealed the news.
Linda appeared on the morning show after she was pictured leaving a hospital last week with her sister Maureen. She was being helped into a car and says fans were quick to message her to ask if everything was okay. The singer was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 but got the all-clear in 2006. In 2017, cancer returned in her hip and spread to her liver in 2020.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, the 64-year-old told presenters Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley that her cancer had spread to her brain. Keeping her emotions in check despite the "frightening" diagnosis, she explained: "I just want to tell you that sadly for me that my cancer has now spread to my brain, which I only found out on Monday. Obviously, it's very frightening because there isn't much help for brain cancer at the moment.
A family source told The Mirror: “She had a series of falls a couple of weeks ago, just after her birthday. The family are extremely worried now and are rallying round to support and care for her."
