The Concorde, after undergoing restoration in Brooklyn, will be transported down the Hudson River and back to the Intrepid Museum. Members of the public can witness its arrival at Pier 86.
Members of the public are welcome at the Intrepid Museum as early at 8 a.m. to watch the supersonic jet 's arrival. The Concorde will be making its way down the Hudson River on Thursday and back to its home after a months-long restoration in Brooklyn. The restoration work on the Concorde included removal of the aircraft's paint coating, sanding, and recoating the jet.
On Thursday, the Concorde will be transported by barge from Jersey City, past various landmarks of Manhattan, before arriving at Pier 86. Members of the public can visit Pier 86 starting at 8 a.m. to witness the supersonic jet's arrival
