Superman & Lois' Superboy Reveals His Unused Pitch For Season 5 & Potential Arrowverse Spinoff

WARNING: This article includes SPOILERS from the Superman & Lois series finale.While the idea of Superman & Lois season 5 has been nixed, one of the lead DC TV stars of the show had ideas for another run of episodes. After over a decade of telling stories in the Arrowverse franchise, Superman & Lois season 4 marked the end of the last DC TV show for The CW.

Superman deals with the physical Lois, a lot of times, deals with the emotional issues and the more interpersonal issues, and we see how the interpersonal issues can manifest in a physical way. In fact, I had a pitch that I was going to do for season 5. So I was going to pitch this, and Tyler actually liked it so much he was going to pitch it with me, because I was 19 at the time, but he really believed in this idea. I actually even, in a post-mortem kind of way, pitched it to Jai as well.

That would also have allowed Jordan and Jonathan more of the spotlight, while Superman & Lois could have continued to develop Lois and Clark further.
