The CW's official synopsis for the upcoming SupermanAndLois season 2 finale hints at the Arrowverse drama witnessing the merging of worlds.
The official CW synopsis for the Superman & Lois season 2 finale hints at the Arrowverse drama having worlds merging. While the Arrowverse has been winding down, especially following the multiple cancellations made by The CW this year, Superman & Lois is still one of the network's remaining DC TV shows. Following Clark Kent and Lois Lane's lives as parents, Superman & Lois season 2 has gone into the multiverse through the introduction of the Inverse World.
Ally, who is one of the Parasites in the DC Comics lore, is getting closer to accomplishing her goals as Superman & Lois season 2 gets closer to its end. In episode 13,"All is Lost," Ally has gotten even stronger following the merge she did with her Inverse doppelganger. While Superman & Lois is currently on its last break, the trailer for episode 14,"Worlds War Bizarre," sees a powerless Clark after his latest showdown with Ally.
"SEASON FINALE — Chrissy Beppo , with the authorization of the Department of Defense, has a message for the people of Smallville, not only is the merging of planets real, it is happening. Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wole Parks, Taylor Buck and Dylan Walsh also star. The episode was directed by Gregory Smith and written by Brent Fletcher & Todd Helbing.
Even though not mentioned, there are a lot of additional confirmed details for the Superman & Lois season 2 finale. For starters, Arrow star David Ramsey is set to reprise the role of John Diggle, whose appearance will be tied into the season 3 villain. This marks Diggle's second appearance on the show after Ramsey guest-starred in Superman & Lois season 1, episode 12,"Through the Valley of Death.
While it's unclear if it is happening in episode 14 or 15, Superman & Lois showrunner Todd Helbing has confirmed that the end of the season will address a major Arrowverse question. Other than Diggle and a few references, Superman & Lois hasn't really acknowledged the other Arrowverse shows, including Supergirl, despite all being set on the same Earth after Crisis on Infinite Earths.
