A sneak peek from the upcoming Superman film reveals the complex relationship between Clark Kent and Lois Lane, as directed by James Gunn.
Ahead of tomorrow's trailer release, James Gunn has shared a short snippet from Superman , offering a glimpse into the action to come. The footage features David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult as Clark Kent , Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor, respectively. A preview of the highly anticipated soundtrack is also included.
The snippet also showcases glimpses of the rest of the talented cast, including Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as the Green Lantern, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Edi Gathigi as Mr. Terrific, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, and Wendell Pierce as Perry White. Gunn directs the film, which he also wrote, alongside producer Peter Safran, co-CEO of DC Studios. Collider's Ross Bonaime, among other journalists, was invited to the set earlier this year, where Gunn previewed scenes and discussed the film's unique take on the Clark Kent and Lois Lane relationship. Gunn revealed that their relationship will be established at the start of the movie but will present a fresh perspective compared to previous iterations. He described their dynamic as unlike anything seen in superhero films before, emphasizing its complexity and the exploration of their contrasting personalities
