The film crew for DC's upcoming 'Superman' returned to Public Square on Monday to shoot scenes inside and outside Key Tower.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The film crew from DC’s upcoming “ Superman ” returned to Public Square on Monday, shooting scenes at Key Tower.
Early filming took place inside the building, which will be the headquarters of Stagg Enterprises in the movie. The production’s security team locked down the northeast quadrant of the plaza, preventing onlookers from getting a good glimpse of the action. A closer look, however, revealed cast members Nathan Fillion , Edi Gathegi and Isabela Merced walking through the lobby. Extras stationed outside, meanwhile, were directed to try to get a better look and point at whatever was happening inside. The windows, though, were obscured by a green filter.
In a later setup, David Corenswet as Superman is standing by the door in the interior of the building in front of a curious, jeering mob outside. For subsequent takes, the extras were instructed to show “less anger.”in a scene shot on Public Square on July 3.
