Robert Downey Jr. Becomes Godparent for Disney Adventure — Robert Downey Jr. was announced as the official godparent for Disney's newest cruise ship, the Disney Adventure. As part of the promotions for the new cruise experience, RDJ also revealed the ship's new Iron Man-inspired"Ironcycle" coaster . DCU News: DC Studios' New Lanterns Trailer, And New James Gunn Comments DC Studios Releases New Lanterns Trailer — DC Studios released the first trailer for Lanterns. Starring Kyle Chandler as GL veteran Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as rookie John Stewart, the new trailer gives us our first look at the grounded, True Detective-style series in which the Green Lantern duo investigates a murder in the American heartland that presumably has cosmic connections. HBO Responds To Lanterns’ Green Suit Controversy — As exciting as the Lanterns trailer is, it did earn some strong controversy due to the lack of green. Understandably, the brief shot of a predominantly brown Lantern costume didn't inspire much confidence (though I'm still hopeful that there's a larger vision/narrative explanation in the works. Nevertheless, HBO did have some fun in their official response to all the discussion online: James Gunn Confirms DC Projects For Kids — Responding to a fan's question on Threads, James Gunn confirmed this week that DC Studios does have a few animated projects for kids in the works, an exciting update that does point to DC Studios' intention to have content for all ages across multiple demographics.
