Researchers analyzed 10 NFL games and found that 10% of commercials promoted food products, with sodium levels ranging from 220 mg to 1,872 mg per serving. The study highlights the potential health risks associated with consuming high-sodium foods, particularly during a social eating event like the Super Bowl.
